From Fruit to Oil

Prickly pear seed oil is rare by nature. It begins with sun-ripened fruit, where countless seeds are carefully gathered by hand. To produce just 1 liter of oil, approximately 30 kg of seeds are required — the yield of around 1,000 kg of fruit.

Once separated from the pulp, the seeds are sun-dried and cold-pressed to release only a few precious drops. This patient process is what makes prickly pear seed oil one of the most valued botanical oils in the world.
